Ashley Armstrong, CPA
Senior Tax Manager
Miss Armstrong oversees the firm's tax department which includes all federal, state and local income tax filings for individuals and businesses, payroll taxes, personal property taxes, estate and trust returns, and client representation with federal and state tax authorities. Miss Armstrong received her Master's Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in accounting, from the University of Dayton in 2009. After graduation, she worked for Ernst & Young, LLP as a consultant. During her time at EY, Miss Armstrong worked on internal audit and process improvement engagements and also earned her CPA license. Prior to joining Dyer & Associates, Ashley was a college basketball coach at Rice University.
Charles E. Hamilton III
Director of Information Technology
Mr. Hamilton heads up the firm's Information Technology (IT) department. Charles' expertise allows the firm to stay out in front of the latest technology upgrades and opportunities. He continues to develop and enhance our proprietary Document Management System, while also keeping our systems secure at all times. With Charles' leadership we have also been able to share these technologies and his expertise with our clients. He has been working in I.T., professionally, since 1998. He interacts with clients and staff on a daily basis to ensure proper use of equipment and overall efficiency of daily workflow. He has six years of Military experience. While in the military he worked as an Information Systems Operator/Analyst (74B). Through the course of his military service he worked in the following positions: Combat Service & Support Automation Management Office (CSSAMO) Technician, CSSAMO Software/Hardware Analyst, Network Technician, Webmaster, Senior Webmaster, Senior CSSAMO Technician. After Mr. Hamilton's tour of duty in the Army, he has also worked in the following positions: Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager, Tech Support Department Manager, Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, Field Technician, Developer, and Desktop Support Analyst.
Mrs. Fegan has over 12 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience. She assists clients in our Surrogate CFO Program with their Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Michelle is especially adept at resolving vendor and customer issues and concerns. Before joining Dyer & Associates, P.C. Michelle worked in accounts payable at Homecrest House an independent senior living community and as the Administrative Director for Georgetown Prep Summer Camps.
Kary started with the firm in 2005 and is now responsible for all of the scanning processes that are maintained in the firm's Document Management System. She also oversees all of the report and tax return assembly and distribution processes. Kary and her husband are both active members in their local Church.
