Gregory B. Dyer, CPA
Mr. Dyer has over 24 years public accounting experience. He is President and sole stockholder of Dyer & Associates, P. C. which he founded in 1987. In addition to managing the firm, Mr. Dyer is actively involved in providing clients with tax, accounting, valuation and advisory services required to enable them to maximize profitability and wealth accumulation. He has previously been a partner with a local firm in the District of Columbia, following eight years as a manager of the audit and consulting departments with a mid-sized regional practice. Mr. Dyer has served in bankruptcies, turnaround, corporate restructuring and workouts. He has experience providing services for taxpayers in contested tax matters as well as compliance and return issues. In addition, he has worked with both buyers and sellers of privately held companies during merger and acquisition proceedings.
Robert L. Zmuda, CPA
Mr. Zmuda has over 27 years of accounting experience including 11 years of public accounting
with KPMG and his own practice. He has 16 years of private accounting experience running
the regional divisions of a number of commercial real estate and development companies
- notably Akridge, Cushman & Wakefield and CB Richard Ellis. He graduated from St. Francis
University with a double major in Accounting & Management and received his MBA,
concentrating in Finance, from the University of South Carolina. He is a lifelong Washingtonian.
Angela K. Odutoye
Executive Assistant to the President.
Ms. Odutoye is a highly skilled, organized, and efficient administrative professional who manages administrative and project support for the President of the firm. Her focus at Dyer & Associates, P. C. is to be a partner for success in the day-to-day affairs of the firm and to be a friendly, reliable resource for staff and clients. Ms. Odutoye has several years experience in executive support and office management. She attended The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and majored in Civil Engineering.
Charles E. Hamilton III
Director of Information Technology
Mr. Hamilton has twelve years professional experience installing, maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting computer information systems, network appliances, hardware and software, in a network and stand alone environment. He interacts with clients and staff on a daily basis to ensure proper use of equipment and overall efficiency of daily workflow. Mr. Hamilton's experience in the Information Technology field is very broad, having worked in many unique I.T. environments in many different and completely unrelated industries. He has six years Military experience, including a one year tour in Iraq in 2003. While in the military he worked as an Information Systems Operator/Analyst (74B). Through the course of his military service he worked in the following positions: Combat Service & Support Automation Management Office (CSSAMO) Technician, CSSAMO Software/Hardware Analyst, Network Technician, Webmaster, Senior Webmaster, Senior CSSAMO Technician. After Mr. Hamilton's tour of duty in the Army, he has also worked in the following positions: Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager, Tech Support Department Manager, Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, Field Technician, Web Developer, and Desktop Support Analyst.
Vanessa Smith-Terrell
Assistant Controller
Ms. Smith-Terrell has seven years experience in the accounting field. Her experience varies from escrow accounting to daily accounting procedures and month-end accounting. Ms. Smith-Terrell offers support to the firm¿s Controllers as well as other staff; she interacts with client management and staff daily to ensure that client expectations are met 100% of the time. She graduated from Western Maryland College (presently McDaniel College) with a double major in Art & Art History. She will receive a Certificate in Accounting from Montgomery College in 2009.
Dana Evans
Assistant Controller
Ms. Evans has over 10 years of accounting and management experience.
Prior to joining Dyer & Associates, Ms. Evans was General Manager of
the Tennis Center at College Park. In that capacity, Dana was responsible for
preparing the companies budget and financial statements, establishing and overseeing internal
controls, implementing effective cost reduction strategies, and training, developing,
and
managing the center's staff. In addition, she was actively involved in
fundraising and event planning, program marketing, and membership sales and service.
Dana was an All - American tennis player at Wake Forest University, and in 2005 was selected
to the ACC Anniversary Team celebrating the Top 50 Athletes in ACC History.
Dana earned her Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest and went on to earn a
Masters of Science from Hood College.
Christina Andrews
Accounts Payable Specialist
Ms. Andrews is solely responsible for managing accounts payable for several clients. She ensures that there is good repor between clients and vendors through daily communication, using procedures set up for financial management services.
Ms. Andrews has a wide range of experience in office management, customer service, and therapeutic recreation. She is currently working toward earning an accounting degree at Montgomery College in Rockville, MD.
